Other Notes

Weather

It rains a lot in Bergen so set expectations properly in advance and pack for rainy weather.

Duration

One full day here is all you need as the city is small, and does not have a lot to keep you busy especially with bad weather. Overall, the city is cute and nice for a day but specifically is helpful for accessing the fjords.

Like some other cities in Europe, a lot of places are closed on Sunday, further limiting your options if visiting on the weekend.

Cost

Norway as a whole is a very expensive country, and is not a great travel destination if you are on a budget. Plan ahead, but be prepared to spend money. In Norway, the currency is the Norwegian Krone.
